HOW TO EMBED FILMS?

HOW TO SIGN UP ON EYELET

1 Go to www.eyelet.org

2 Click on “FOR PUBLISHERS”

3 Fill out the information requested (it shouldn’t take you longer than a

couple of mins). Once you’re done, make sure to accept the Terms & Conditions, and click on “DONE”.

4 eyelet will receive a notification of your sign-up request. Once this is accepted, you will be able to access your account at www.eyelet.org

5 Make sure to sign the contract! We won’t be able to let you embed

your eyelet films until you do. You can find a copy of the contract over at your publisher hub. Click on your profile tab on the top right corner, select “Contract” and sign the doc whenever ready.

6 Select films

You are now able to embed your eyelet films. To do so, click on the poster of the film you wish to embed. Next, click on “add to my catalog.”

Head over to “MY CATALOGUE” and click + to embed the film you chose:

A pop-up will appear. Choose the size of the video player, and copy the embed code:

Paste the embed code on your website.

1. Optional: Define a custom background image for your player by adding “?image_url=URL” to the iframe URL. Example: https:// www.eyelet.com/movie/55561f1976fc3ba9a042c635692fbdb7/? image_url=https://lwlies.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/valley-of love-review-768x539-c-default.jpg

2. Verify that the code is exactly the one you copied from the site, without deleting anything

3. Ensure it displays correctly.

4. Define a recommended minimum size of the player

5. Recommended placement: Using a custom background image, it’s possible to place the player above your main image for the article

*Some tips to help to embed the video player:

• If you put the video player over the top, you have more possibility to increase the renting of the films.

• You can also replace Youtube’s trailer by an eyelet video player (so you don’t have two players side-by-side).
